Details: Commissioned by Appetite and UHNM Charity, I created two artworks in the Royal Stoke University hospital’s minor injuries department. I engaged with both patients and staff in the department to select local subject matter for the artworks that reflected the spirit and life (both past and present) of their city. The outcome became two large scale, colourful, fun and playful images, creating a calming distraction for patients which included familiar landscapes and icons of the local area.
